With MSX technology the Flir C2 is great, however, using it close-up the IR image and the optical images don't line up.
I decided to 5 minute hack my C2 and get the images to converge better at very close distances, ideal for electronics use.
There is an "alignment adjustment" on the C2 itself, but it's minimum setting is 3ft.......and playing with it and another setting for "distance" under measurement parameters , both don't seem to do much at all, certainly not affecting parallax. Mine is an early C2......hmmm!
