Repair of my Fluke 8842A Bench DMM. The VFD (vacuum fluorescent display) has aged and has gone a bit too dimm for my liking. So, after finding some new old stock for this aging meter I swapped out the display.

where did you find VFD?
I have to replace it on my Fluke also.

Bought from Ebay......just a lucky find, brand new old stock.
